Short company description:
GP Hospitality Partners is a specialized advisory and coaching firm dedicated to helping independent restaurant owners scale their businesses and reclaim their personal time. Founded in 2020, the company bridges the gap between daily operations and long-term strategic growth by providing tailored systems, leadership development, and financial clarity.
Our service model is built on three core pillars:
Advisory: Strategic guidance on financial performance and organizational structure to help owners scale intentionally.
Coaching: Empowering leadership teams to take ownership of departments, freeing founders from “firefighting” daily operations.
Training: Implementing repeatable systems to ensure consistent guest experiences and improved staff retention.
Led by experienced operators who have scaled multi-unit concepts, GP Hospitality Partners focuses on transforming chaotic environments into profitable, mission-driven cultures.
How has your business changed in the past 12 months?
I have been leaning more heavily into people development after seeing how many restaurants and businesses in general are struggling with finding, retaning and developing great teams.
Describe a Failure in your Career
I fail forward every day. In fact, I have grown to seek out lessons that some would define as failure as a means to continually grow. I used to believe that when I had to close down my first restaurant, that that was a big failure. But actually, it was one of my biggest lessons. Since then, I have viewed failure very differently. Now, I only see failure as the point where I give up. That is the only true failure. Everything else is just obstacles.
What about your company makes you the most proud
What makes me the most proud is seeing our results in action. We work with a lot of teams, founders and owners, and the small shifts are the ones that we celebrate the most because we know that those lead to lasting change. It’s great when a restaurant owner opens a new location and we were we able to help with that, but it’s even better when a team member from the organization lets us know how impactful our training has been on them, how it has helped them to grow personally and professionally. It’s that type of change that keeps us excited and makes us want to do more for more people.
How do you motivate people to give their best?
I’d say motivation is fleeting. But accountability and commitment to a repeated discipline is life-changing. Yes we motivate, but mostly we focus on outcomes. It’s one thing to give people motivation and even tools and insights that they need to succeed, but it’s another to hold them to task to see their vision through and to create rituals and disciplines around the outcomes that are ultimately going to lead to that vision becoming a reality.
