How long have you been in your industry?20
Why did you choose your industry?I’ve always been energized by helping others unlock their full potential. Coaching and consulting allow me to combine my passion for personal growth, leadership development, and creating impactful strategies. After years of managing teams and seeing how the right mindset and systems could transform people’s lives, I knew this was my calling.
Who are your typical clients?I work with emerging leaders, executive professionals, and microbusiness owners. My clients are ambitious, driven individuals who want to enhance their energy, focus, and resilience to significantly impact their industries and communities.
What do you like best about being in this industry? The ripple effect. Watching one client transform their mindset and energy not only improves their life but often inspires their teams, families, and communities. Knowing that my work helps people grow and lead with optimism and purpose is rewarding.
What are common problems you see?One common issue is the lack of follow-up or sustained support in coaching. Many people experience a motivational boost during sessions but struggle to implement changes long-term. That’s why I prioritize actionable tools and ongoing support in my coaching practice to ensure sustainable results.
What advice/tips do you have for clients?Start small but stay consistent. The best growth comes from building habits and systems that align with your long-term vision. Also, never underestimate the power of reflection—taking time to pause and evaluate your progress is crucial for sustained success.
When is your busy season? My busiest times are the start of the year, as professionals set goals for personal and professional growth, and late summer into fall, when leaders seek to refocus and build momentum for the end of the year.
What keeps you up at night?Ensuring that my clients feel truly supported in their journey. I often think about how to innovate and enhance my offerings to meet their needs and help them overcome challenges in meaningful ways.
How do you market yourself to grow/expand your business?I focus on authentic connections—sharing thought leadership through podcasts, writing articles, and speaking at industry events. Additionally, I leverage social media to build relationships and showcase the value of my coaching through actionable insights and real-world success stories.
How involved are you in the community?I coach recipients of programs like the Comcast RISE grant and support local startups through initiatives like Startup Boston Week. I’m also exploring ways to volunteer with organizations that help children navigate grief.
What is your favorite not for profit or charity?I have a deep connection with ALS TDI, a leading organization in ALS research, as well as programs that support grieving children and families like Experience Camps.
What advice would you give to someone thinking of getting into this business?Focus on your unique value proposition. What do you bring to the table that’s different? Build relationships with intention, and never stop learning. Coaching is as much about self-growth as it is about helping others grow.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?Spending quality time with my family, including my two young daughters and our dogs, Welly and Winter. I’m also a huge music enthusiast—I enjoy live shows and discovering new artists, often writing about them on my platform, Huntoon Rocks.
